Appointment flow rules
TecPet has rules that control what your team can do at each appointment stage. Most come enabled by default; support can restrict or allow them according to your shop’s policy.
Available rules
Section titled “Available rules”- Create appointments: turns the ability to create new appointments on/off.
- Cancel with a paid invoice: allows cancelling an appointment whose invoice was already paid.
- Deliver without payment: allows marking the pet as delivered even without payment.
- Cancel after started: allows cancelling an appointment already in service.
- Edit after delivered: allows editing an appointment that was already delivered.
- Revert a started status: allows moving an appointment back to a previous stage after it started.
Why adjust them
Section titled “Why adjust them”These rules help prevent mistakes and fraud (e.g. not letting delivery happen without payment) or add flexibility to operations (e.g. allowing a status to be reverted). Set what makes sense for your business.
How to change
Section titled “How to change”These permissions are adjusted by the team. Contact support stating which rules you want to allow or restrict.
