# Bling integration

_What the Bling integration does — customers and invoice (sales order) — and how the authorization works._

The **Bling** integration keeps **customers** and the **invoice** in sync between TecPet and Bling.

## Customers

The customer registered in TecPet is **created and updated as a contact in Bling**. Keep Tax ID, name and address correct so the invoice goes out without errors.

## Invoice

When you **bill** in TecPet, the integration creates the **Sales Order** in Bling and updates its **status**, which is what allows **issuing the invoice** through Bling. [Invoice](/en/operacao/financeiro/a-fatura-por-dentro/) updates in TecPet reflect on the order.

## Authorization (must stay connected)

Bling uses an **authorization (OAuth)** that **expires** periodically. TecPet **re-authorizes automatically** every few hours, transparently. However, if the authorization is **revoked** — for example, by **changing your Bling password** or **removing the app's authorization** — the integration stops working until it's **reconnected**.

## When the invoice fails

The two most common causes are: a **divergent customer record** (Tax ID/data) and an **expired/revoked Bling authorization**. Check the [record](/en/operacao/clientes-e-pets/cadastrar-um-cliente/) and, if it's the connection, **contact support** to reconnect Bling.

## How to enable it

The Bling connection is done by the **TecPet team** (authorizing TecPet in your Bling). **Contact support** to enable or reconnect it.

> **⚠️ Heads up**
>
> Bling uses an **authorization that expires** from time to time. TecPet **renews it automatically** — but if you **change your Bling password** or **deauthorize the app**, the integration stops and invoices won't issue until you **reconnect** (contact support).
