# Legacy chatbot

_TecPet's old chatbot: set up by support, with no screen of its own, being migrated to the new chatbot and AI._

The **legacy chatbot** is the **older version** of the automatic WhatsApp service — before the [new chatbot](/en/configuracao/chatbot/novo-chatbot/) and the [AI](/en/configuracao/chatbot/inteligencia-artificial/).

The main difference: it **has no settings screen** in the system. The menus, messages and flows are **built and adjusted by the support team** — you can't edit them yourself. That's why the **Settings → IA → Atendimento** menu doesn't appear in your account.

We're **migrating shops gradually** from the legacy chatbot to the new chatbot (and to the AI), where **you customize everything yourself**.
